‘Tis the season
Christmas is coming soon. Wait, didn’t we JUST start this year 🤨?
Sometimes, I still feel like it’s December 2020 – don’t you? Just me? Ok.
Because of everything that everyone has been through, I believe we all deserve this little break – even though the world was kind of already on vacation the entire two years now.
We need to celebrate the little wins, and what better time to do so than the holiday season!
This gift guide is for anyone on your list that may be hard to find a gift for, who pretty much got everything, your team, client or yourself 😉.
Most of these are from Amazon because Amazon Prime 2-day shipping 😊!
1. WAITEE 3-IN-1 Wireless Charging Station
With the rise of everything tech, most people usually have more than 1 handheld device. If that is someone you know, or yourself, a charging station is a great thing to have. Fewer cords, fewer plugs needed and a more centralized area for your devices! This one can also do more than just Apple devices, so it’s a win!
2. Logitech MX Vertical Mouse
Work from home or not, this mouse is great if you use a computer (or laptop or tablet) for long periods of time. I personally use this ergonomic mouse and I’m not sure if I’ll ever switch back to traditional-shaped mice as my go-to. It does feel off for the first few times you use it, but you’ll really see the difference it makes. It also allows you to flow smoothly across different devices, so if you need to switch for any reason (home computer then work computer or laptop to tablet), it’ll be seamless. Pair this with the Logitech Ergo 860 Keyboard and you’re on your way to ergonomic heaven!
3. Apple AirPods Pro (or AirPods Max)
A lot of people probably already have this one – but for the ones that don’t, this is always a very welcomed gift. I, for one, used to be a corded-type of headset/earbuds user. But that’s also because I have a (frustrated) music producer background. So, the corded ones usually give better quality for latency and monitoring. That said, a typical work from home, leisure music listener person would love to escape cords – especially if you’re moving place to place and don’t want to keep lugging your device around because it’s attached.
The AirPods Pro is great if you want lightweight and can be easily concealed. Go for AirPods Max if you want people to know that you can’t hear them. You know what I mean 😉. This is so useful when you’re in a webinar and need to refill your coffee for the 2nd time that morning.
4. Apple AirTag (pack of 4)
I don’t know about you but even if I’m just at home, I still manage to misplace things. Not to pass the buck but I also live with a toddler and a 10-year old, so things can easily go from one place to another.Apple AirTag is such a fun thing to have. It helps ease those mini-heart attacks of losing something because the-two-year-old-nicely-threw-it-in-the-garbage-because-he-wants-to-step-on-the-garbage-foot-pedal-and-show-that-he-knows-how-to-clean-up 🤦🏻♀️. Just me? Ok. This could also work for anyone that have pets. And once the world finally opens up to be explored, you or the person you gifted this to, will be thanking you or the stars that they have it.
5. HomeSoap UV Sanitizer
The person you gift this to doesn’t need to be a germaphobe per se, but if they appreciate cleanliness and sanitation especially in these times, then this is a great gift. I received a smaller version of this last Christmas as a gift and I love using it ever since. I love this bigger version because they’ll be able to put more than just phones, keys and glasses inside. With this size, they can also put tablets, game controllers and more! Here’s also a smaller version (Samsung Qi Wireless Charger and UV Sanitizer) if they prefer.
6. Sony ZV-1 Vlogger Camera Vlogger Kit
The era of video (and photo) content is much powerful now more than ever. So, if you know someone who wants to be a content creator (influencer, vlogger, streamer, etc.), then this Sony ZV-1 Vlogger Camera is perfect for anyone starting out or pros alike. This camera is catered specifically for vloggers but can also be used as a webcam for live streaming or any virtual meeting. It also takes great photos, so your giftee can use those photos for their social feed to match!
7. Ubeesize Selfie Ring with Tripod and Remote
Some people always seem to have nice lighting whenever they show up on camera. Some say it’s because they have a nice window view, and some say it’s their high-quality camera. But you also get some people that actually say they got help from a light ring. Having a light ring is perfect if someone you know is serious about being a content creator. When used correctly, lighting can be flattering and can highlight all the right details.
8. LARQ Bottle
Do you or the person you’re potentially gifting this to drink from a water bottle? Let’s say it’s you – smell the inside of your bottle. Unless you JUST cleaned it, it probably smells musty. Ever heard of a water bottle that cleans itself? Not talking about filter cartridges or anything like that. This LARQ Bottle has UV-C light in the cap that purifies the water and cleans the bottle itself. So, what exactly does it clean? It claims to effectively kill nearly all bacteria and viruses when used in the highest setting. It auto-cleans every 2 hours, so they don’t have to worry about forgetting to turn it on – just make sure you let them know to charge every month, of course. I personally have this and you know that smell test in the beginning? Mine doesn’t have that musty smell. I loved it so much, I gifted one to my kid and a few of my family members! At the time of writing, they’re also coming out with a PITCHER version of the bottle and I can’t wait to get my hands on them!
9. Hidrate Spark Steel Smart Water Bottle
If your person is more on the “I need to drink more water” kind, then this bottle is perfect. They can keep track of their water intake via a mobile app and it also reminds them when it’s time to take another drink. Anyone into health and fitness will really like that they finally now have a device that can actually track their water intake – and not just by blindly clicking “I drank 8 oz of water” in an app every time.
10. Saje x Positively POOSH Aroma Lune Diffuser Kit
Some people like candles. Some like aroma diffusers. The great thing about diffusers, they’re not directly a fire hazard. This specific diffuser is a collaboration with Saje and Kourtney Kardashian. Yup, you read that right – Kourtney Kardashian. I personally have this and I love that it can go for as long as 14 hours on intermittent mist setting and 7 hours continuous. It also comes with the Poosh Diffuser Blend which gives a euphoric mix of rose, lavender and grapefruit. So, not only does it smell great, it looks aesthetically great too.
11. Fenty Match Stix Trio
This can be for anyone, really. They can still look great even when in virtual meetings or content creation. Even though a lot of people are working from home nowadays, there are still some of us that like to look presentable (like we don’t always look this disheveled kind of thing) on cam. This magnetized Fenty Match Stix Trio is long-wear but light-as-air that conceals, contours and highlights. It doesn’t matter if the person you’re gifting this to is low-maintenance or high-maintenance, this will be great for their makeup collection. I can’t speak for the low-maintenance ones but I consider myself one, and if I can have makeup that can do multiple things with minimal inventory required, then I’m sold.
12. NekTeck Shiatsu Neck and Back Massager and Bag
Who doesn’t want a massager? Long hours on the computer (working from home or not) or really just in everyday life, can really take a toll on your body – and not everyone can (or wants) go out for a massage every single day. So, this neck and back massager is great for anyone who wants their own personal portable masseuse.
13. Kamots Beauty Massage Gun
This one is great for anyone who work-out, dance, or really do anything that’s physically taxing. Why? It has a lot of benefits: it increases blood and lymphatic circulation which allows the muscles to get more oxygen and nutrients; it releases lactic build-up in the body (DOMS anyone?) and it releases tension deep in the muscles and increases tissue metabolism. What I loved about this specific massage gun is that it has multiple massage heads that target different body regions or needs. Anyone can use it every day – just try not to do it too much though as it can result in muscle tenderness.
14. Echelon Reflect Smart Connect Fitness Mirror
Do you know anyone who says they’ll go to the gym but don’t because it’s “too far” or “too much of a hassle sometimes”? Well, they’ll need to come up with another excuse when you gift them this! It’s a mirror but the gym is IN IT. So, they’ll see their reflection, like a normal mirror, but they’ll also get their gym instructor via the mirror. It has a camera and speakers built-in and uses wi-fi to stream classes – it’s also possible to download the classes for offline use. The mirror uses advanced tracking technology and machine learning so it’ll get to know you and provide real-time feedback based on your goals and preferences. I do want to note though, that the workouts do require a monthly or yearly membership to be accessed.
15. Cossac Fitness Journal and Workout Planner
If the mirror above is a little too pricey, you can gift them a Fitness Journal. They don’t have to be hardcore workout people to get this. Fitness Journals are perfect for anyone tracking their diet, weight loss journey or just keeping track of what muscle group they exercised last week. It tells them how much they’ve grown in their strength or cardio so that they don’t focus on just what number the weight scale says.
16. Oculus Quest 2 – Advanced All-in-One Virtual Reality Headset
Did you know that you can use Oculus for work? It’s definitely not for everyone but now adults can have another reason to get a VR other than the games *whispers* You’re welcome *whispers*. Ok ok, this is more for the gaming aspect of it, and why not? The VR world is definitely just getting started. More and more companies are trying to incorporate VR into their platforms like watching movies or shows, treatment for mental health issues like anxiety and depression, and even surgical training. Because of this, the games are an added bonus.
17. Satin Bedsheet Covers
Silk covers aren’t only for the Upper East Side (you know who I mean 😉). Well, if we’re being frugal, we can opt for satin. Satin covers are still incredibly soft and smooth, so, it doesn’t tug on your skin or hair – because wrinkles, breakage, and frizz. I have a wavy then curly, then wavy again type of hair. And during all those times, I got frizz even if I used Anti-Frizz hair products. Then I bought 2 pillowcases to try it out. And yes, it definitely made a difference. Bedsheets aren’t a usual Christmas gift type of thing – not that I know anyways – so receiving satin ones will definitely be a surprise.
18. Foot Heating Pads
If your giftee is someone who always complains it’s old, then these would be perfect. Sometimes, wearing fuzzy socks doesn’t cut it, and putting a heater makes everyone else around complain that it’s too hot (Yes, this is me speaking from experience 😅). These foot heating pads are perfect because they can use it for work or at home without the I’m-so-comfy-in-my-blanket look. This one also comes with an elastic belt, so women, rejoice as something has come our way for our monthly visitors.
19. Warming and Cooling Weighted Blanket
I wish I knew this earlier in my life but 4 words: Warming. Cooling. Weighted. Blanket. The weight aspect of it is already enough for some people. But if your giftee lives in a cold place (kind of like the place where Kevin Hart said that the snow is so violent that it’s punching him in the face for no reason at all), it’s great! Did you know that weighted blankets are great to ease stress, soothe anxiety, improve sleep quality and more? The weighted property of the blanket makes it seem like you’re getting a hug, which stimulates natural hormones such as dopamine and serotonin which are directly linked to happiness.
20. Ember Mug or Ember Travel Mug
Great for anyone who likes their drinks to stay at the same temperature until they finish their drink. Gone are the days of multiple reheating of your drink because you don’t want to waste a perfectly good cup. Ember Mugs last all day when placed on its charging coaster or 80 mins to 1.5 hours (depending on size) when using its built-in battery. The temperature range is 50°C – 62.5°C (120°F – 145°F) and the mugs auto sleeps when it’s empty and wakes up when it senses movement or liquid. Ember Mugs here and Ember Travel Mug here.
21. iRobot Roomba Vacuum
Staying at home doesn’t always mean your house is clean. Especially when you got kids, pets, or anyone living in it really. You just vacuumed yesterday? How come there are already dust bunnies under the couch? No clue. It’s not like people are shedding 200,000,000 skin cells every hour. Oh wait, we do (yes, fact-check it). Multiply that by the number of people that live with you. Yeah. Not a pretty sight. A Roomba Vacuum can help you clean your floors. Just be sure to watch out if you have pets that go out of their kennels. You don’t want a trail of mess when you wake up – I gave your heads-up.
22. Perfectly Planned Planner 2022
This one is kind of like a bonus one. If you’re looking for a (can I say “heavy-duty”?) planner for 2022, I suggest, you check out this Perfectly Planned Planner by carrie.co. Not only does it look great, but it also has so many things in it that you’ll be motivated to crush your next year into success, business and personally. I got this when it was still in the pre-order round and I was so excited about it that I bought my sister another one for her business too! She said it looks too gorgeous to write on 😅. I just wish I have a much nicer handwriting to even feel worthy of writing in it. Tell them Christine Damian OBM sent you 😊.
There you have it! I hope this list helped with your last-minute gifting ideas for your family, friends, co-worker, or even clients! Now you have an idea for those hard to buy a gift for or for someone who pretty much has everything.
Also, you can watch out for some of these items to go on sale for Boxing Day!
Aside from all the food (and drinks ehem 💃🏻) that you’ll be consuming during the parties remember to stay safe and healthy!
Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays and have a fantastic New Year to you and your families.
I can’t wait to see you all next year!
What gift are you most excited to give (or get 😉)?
